Antes de que termine… | Before it ends

2011 ha sido un año de los completitos, con momentos geniales y otros… bueno, no tan buenos. Ha sido un año exigente, pero en contrapartida increíblemente gratificante y por encima de todo muy, muy interesante. Durante los pasados 365 días he descubierto lo tozuda que tienes que ser para hacer lo que te gusta, he tenido que descifrar cómo se lleva un pequeño negocio (aún estoy en ello), he experimentado de primera mano la locura que conlleva organizar una boda, he podido compartir momentos geniales con los míos y aún me ha dado tiempo de hacer amigos de los que valen su peso en oro. Lo que digo, ha sido un año completito.

Pero querido 2011, no te lo tomes a mal… es tu momento de irte. Estoy lista para un nuevo año, para días más tranquilos y quién sabe, quizá más organizados (los que me conocéis, sabéis la magnitud de tal afirmación…). Por eso, una vez se pase la locura navideña, me tomaré un mes para hacer una parada técnica, para reorganizare y preparar cosillas nuevas para 2012.

Pero todo esto ya llegará, ahora toca centrarse en lo mejor del año, todos vosotros, los que os tomáis el tiempo de leer el blog; los que habéis comentado, mandado mails y los que os habéis pasado a saludar en el Festivalet; los que tenéis un trozo de JeezVanilla en casa y los que os apuntasteis a mis clases: Muchas gracias! Sois vosotros los que me animáis a querer hacer del 2012 un año con mucho más y mejor!

Feliz año a todos, que el 2012 sea dulce y entretenido!

2011 has been a full year, with some of the best and some of the worst moments ever. It definitely has been challenging, but in exchange it has been incredibly rewarding and most of all interesting. I’ve learnt so much this past year… I’ve discovered how stubborn you have to be in order to do what you like, I’ve had to figure out how to run a business (still at it), I’ve experienced first hand the craziness of organizing a wedding, I’ve shared some amazing moments with the people I care about and I’ve made some great friends along the way. Like I say, it’s been a full one.

But 2011, don’t take it badly, I’m ready for you to go. I’m ready for a new year, for a mellower ride, maybe for a more organized one. That’s why once the Christmas period is over (after the Three Wise Men day, the 6th of January), I will take a month out, just to re-organize myself, to make sure that I appreciate and make the most of all the great things 2011 has brought and to kick start new projects for 2012.

But all this will come later, for now let’s focus on the sweetest part of it all: you, the people who read the blog, the ones that have commented, emailed and even come say hello in the Festivalet. Thank you, so very much! You inspire me to want to make 2012 bigger and better!
